Gail Sky King (b. 1956) was a composer and writer for Sesame Street from seasons 24 to 30. She co-composed dozens of songs for the show. She was also the composer and writer for several Gullah Gullah Island songs during the show's run, during the first season, she was usually paired up with Don Blackman and Doug Califano as assistant music and lyric composers. Beginning with Season Two, she began working on and off on Gullah Gullah Island, mainly because of Sesame Street.
